The terms and conditions that apply to the tours of Barcelona with Marta are designed to provide a clear and fair foundation for all bookings and interactions. This section outlines the procedures for payments, cancellations, and responsibilities. It is important to read these terms carefully before booking a tour so that you know exactly what to expect.
These terms and conditions apply to all bookings for group tours and private tours via BarcelonaWithMarta.com.
1. Payment and Invoices
- All prices listed on the website are final prices including VAT, unless stated otherwise.
- Tours are exclusive of any transportation costs, entrance fees, and food or drinks, unless specifically mentioned.
- After booking a tour, you will receive a confirmation with a payment request. Payment can be made via bank transfer or through the Mollie payment system. There are no additional transaction fees for iDeal or Bancontact payments, but credit card payments may incur extra charges.
- Upon payment via Mollie, you will receive a payment confirmation. If you require an invoice, you can request it via email, specifying the name and address for the invoice.
- If payment is not received within 7 days, you will receive a reminder. If payment is not completed after 5 additional days, the booking will be canceled.
2. Cancelling a Booking
If you wish to cancel your booking for any reason, the following conditions apply:
- Up to 10 days before the tour: 90% of the paid amount will be refunded.
- Up to 4 days before the tour: 50% of the paid amount will be refunded.
- Up to 24 hours before the tour: 25% of the paid amount will be refunded.
- Less than 24 hours before the tour: No refund.
The main reason for these rules is that I have a limited number of spots available, and I reserve specific time in my schedule for each participant.
Cancellations must always be made via email or WhatsApp.
3. What if Barcelona with Marta has to cancel the tour?
In cases where Barcelona with Marta must cancel the tour, such as due to bad weather, illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, a new date will be scheduled in consultation with the customer or 100% of the paid deposit will be refunded.
4. Participation at Your Own Risk
Participation in a tour with Barcelona with Marta is always at your own risk. Since we will be walking through a busy city, there are risks such as pickpockets or traffic situations. Barcelona with Marta is not liable for any damage or injury that occurs during the tour, including theft or other accidents.
If there is any damage or injury covered by insurance, it will be covered by your own insurance.
5. Force Majeure
There is no obligation for compensation if the execution of a tour is hindered by force majeure, such as war, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond the control of Barcelona with Marta. This is considered force majeure, for which no compensation is owed.
