The Barça Megastore

FC Barcelona Museum History
As early as the 1920s, Joan Gamper, who founded FC Barcelona in 1899, came up with the idea of a club museum. However, it was not until 1984 that the club museum, the Museu del Fútbol Club Barcelona, was finally opened.
In 2000, the museum was renamed Museu President Núñez, during the presidency of Joan Gaspart, in honor of the former club president Josep Lluís Núñez (1978-2000), the founder of the museum.
After various expansions and renovations, the FC Barcelona museum has become a prominent place to discover the club and its rich history. Between 2001 and 2023, the renovated museum was called the Camp Nou Experience, and since 2023, it has become the Barça Immersive Tour.
Fun Fact: Barça’s museum is the most visited in Barcelona and even in Catalonia with 1 to 2 million visitors per year.
