What you’ll taste and see
A selection of the places and flavors of the Tapas Tour.

The Gothic Quarter and El Born
Walk through two of Barcelona’s oldest and most characterful neighborhoods in search of authentic places to eat. Along the way, I’ll share my favorite tips, and you’ll discover spots visitors easily overlook.

A glass of vermut
Having a vermouth, or vermut, is a true Barcelona tradition! We’ll stop at a cozy bar to enjoy a glass, with a few tasty tapas on the side, of course. It’s a little taste of local life.

A local market
What’s on the locals’ plates? It all starts with the ingredients, of course! At a local market, we’ll discover fresh seasonal produce, typical Catalan specialties and the flavors that make Mediterranean cuisine so special.

An authentic tapas bar
Time to taste tapas at an authentic tapas bar! I’ll tell you more about this Spanish way of eating and help you choose from the menu, so you discover the classic flavors you won’t want to miss.

A pintxos bar
Besides tapas, you’ll also get to know pintxos, small bites best known from northern Spain. Served on a slice of bread and often held together with a toothpick, they’re perfect for trying lots of different flavors.

Something sweet to finish
Barcelona has plenty to offer if you have a sweet tooth! Along the way, we’ll discover special pastry shops, chocolate shops and fun places to pick up a tasty souvenir. And of course, we’ll finish with something delicious, like the classic Catalan crema catalana.
The route is flexible. I adapt the stops to the time of day, your tastes and any dietary needs. That’s why every tour is a little different.
