Barcelona is full of amazing rooftop bars where you can sip a glass of cava while taking in stunning views of the city. While these rooftops used to be exclusive to hotel guests or only open during the summer, nowadays almost all of them are accessible to everyone year-round! The Best Rooftop Bars and Terraces in Barcelona

Looking for a cool rooftop bar in Barcelona? You’ve come to the right place! As a local guide, I know all the best spots in the city to enjoy a great drink with a view. From laid-back vibes to stylish hotspots — these are the rooftops you definitely don’t want to miss.

1. Barceló 360° Bar

On the 11th floor of the Hotel Barceló Raval, you’ll find the Barceló 360° Bar, offering an almost complete 360-degree panoramic view of Barcelona — binoculars included! Here, you can enjoy top-quality cocktails while taking in the breathtaking cityscape. This rooftop is also a popular hotspot for electronic music lovers, with sunset DJ sessions that create a unique and vibrant atmosphere.

    Address: Rambla del Raval, 17-21
    Metro: Liceu (L3) and Paral·lel (L2 and L3)
    Opening hours: Daily from 11:00 AM to 1:00 AM

2. Alaire

At the popular Alaire terrace atop the Hotel Condes de Barcelona, you can admire the Sagrada Família on one side and the famous Casa Milà on the other. This spot is perfect for after-work drinks or relaxing after a day of shopping — don’t forget to toast with some Moët & Chandon! Open year-round, and during winter, they provide cozy blankets to keep you warm.

    Metro: Diagonal (L3 and L5) and Passeig de Gràcia (L2, L3, and L4)
    Opening hours: Sunday to Wednesday, 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM; Thursday to Saturday, 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM

3. La Isabela

Located on the terrace of Hotel 1898, La Isabela is the ultimate chill-out spot to enjoy drinks and bites while soaking in views of Barcelona Cathedral, Santa Maria del Mar church, Montjuïc, and the Mediterranean Sea. The comfy lounge chairs add a special touch to the experience.

    Metro: Catalunya (L1), Universitat (L1 and L2), and Liceu (L3)
    Opening hours: Daily from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM

4. El Terrat

El Terrat offers a unique gastronomic experience with breathtaking panoramic views over Barcelona. Located on the rooftop of the Mandarin Oriental hotel, you can enjoy a wide selection of drinks and cocktails while relaxing and watching the sunset, all accompanied by the hotel’s famous exclusive service.

Important to know: Only hotel guests can use the terrace from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. For non-guests, the terrace is open Sunday through Thursday from 1:00 PM to 1:00 AM, and on Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 2:00 AM.

5. Ohla

The rooftop of the Ohla Hotel, located on the eighth floor, offers one of the best views of the city. It’s the perfect spot to end your day in style with a drink while enjoying the stunning panorama over Barcelona. Especially at sunset and in the evening, when the city is beautifully lit, this rooftop is a popular hotspot. Note: The pool is exclusively for hotel guests.

    Opening hours: Sunday to Thursday 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Friday and Saturday 1:00 PM – 12:00 AM

6. Terraza Wet W

One of the trendiest summer terraces in Barcelona is Terraza Wet W, located at the luxurious Hotel W. This is the place to see and be seen. With a prime location right next to Sant Sebastià beach, this hotspot hosts the coolest beach parties during the summer. Every Sunday you can enjoy live DJ sets, delicious snacks, and refreshing cocktails. The terrace also features a stunning pool and comfortable sun loungers with parasols—perfect for a relaxing day.

    Opening hours: Open daily from 10:00 AM to 3:00 AM in July and August. DJs every Sunday from 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
    Tip: You can rent a sunbed here to fully enjoy a relaxing day by the sea.

7. Claris

Claris was a pioneer in Barcelona when it comes to hotel rooftops open to everyone. The stylish rooftop terrace at Hotel Claris is open year-round, with the bar available all day long. You can enjoy delicious cocktails as well as an extensive culinary menu. A real recommendation is their weekday lunch menu, available for €39 per person.

8. La Terraza (Hotel Pulitzer)

On top of Hotel Pulitzer you’ll find La Terraza, a stylish rooftop terrace in the heart of Barcelona where you can enjoy a cozy evening with live music and tasty food. On weekends, they also host popular Vermut sessions, featuring a special menu and DJ vinyl sets. It’s the perfect place to relax in the sun with a vermouth and some delicious snacks.

9. The Rooftop at Sir Victor

The Rooftop at Sir Victor is one of those hidden gems you secretly hope to discover during your trip to Barcelona. This elegant rooftop offers stunning views over the city, especially of Gaudí’s iconic Casa Milà. Whether you’re here for a relaxed lunch, a drink in the afternoon sun, or a cozy dinner under the stars, you’re always in for a great time. The cocktail menu is surprising and creative, with highlights like the Guilty Pleasure and refreshing homemade lemonades.

    Opening hours: Monday to Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Thursday to Sunday from 12:00 PM to 11:00 PM

10. La Terraza del Central Rooftop

On top of the Grand Hotel Central is La Terraza del Central Rooftop (formerly known as the Sky Bar), a stylish rooftop terrace featuring an impressive infinity pool and one of the best views over the city. With its relaxed vibe, La Terraza del Central is the perfect spot for lunch, drinks, or dinner while enjoying panoramic views of downtown Barcelona.

Good to know: Access for non-guests is only possible through an online reservation with prepayment; this includes one drink. The pool is exclusively reserved for hotel guests.

11. The Barcelona Edition

Another rooftop you definitely shouldn’t miss is The Barcelona Edition in El Born. From here, you get a unique view of the colorful, wavy roof of Mercat de Santa Caterina and the surrounding neighborhood. A truly photogenic hotspot! Take a seat at one of the two stylish bars and enjoy a delicious cocktail while soaking in the city views.

12. Terraza del Sercotel Rosellón

Visit the rooftop bar of Hotel Sercotel Rosellón (formerly Hotel Ayre Rosellón) for the best views of the Sagrada Família. What used to be a hidden gem is now a popular hotspot thanks to its privileged outlook. Therefore, reservations are now mandatory and a minimum consumption is required — but with the Sagrada Família as your view, that’s certainly no hardship!

13. L’Àtic (Lamaro Hotel)

The rooftop bar L’Àtic at the Lamaro Hotel in Barcelona is a hidden gem not to be missed. Located on the top floor of the hotel, this stylish bar offers breathtaking views of the cathedral’s bell towers and the surrounding Gothic Quarter. From 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, you can enjoy a varied menu of tapas, small dishes, cocktails, and wines. Entrance to the rooftop bar is free and reservations are not possible, so it’s recommended to arrive early to secure a spot.

    Metro: Jaume I (L4)
    Opening hours: open daily from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM
