If you’re craving a delicious plate of pasta while in Barcelona, I have a great recommendation for you! Las Sorrentinas, an Italian-Peruvian restaurant, is not only known for its scrumptious food but also for being affordable. Read my review of this restaurant in Barcelona and consider adding it to your must-visit list for your trip!

Over Las Sorrentinas

Las Sorrentinas is located in Barcelona’s historic center, at the charming Plaça de Sant Pere in the El Born district. This cozy restaurant is small in scale but offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. They serve delightful dishes with homemade pasta that truly stands out. Besides pasta, they are also renowned for their cocktails and ceviche.

The prices are very reasonable, especially if you visit during the weekday afternoons, when they offer a complete lunch menu including a starter, main course, and dessert, with multiple choices, for just €14.50.

Las Sorrentinas features an outdoor terrace, but the interior seating is equally appealing due to its delightful decor. They are open daily from 13:00 to 00:00.

My Experience at Las Sorrentinas

I stumbled upon Las Sorrentinas during one of my walks in the El Born neighborhood. I was drawn in by the restaurant’s ambiance and the daily menu, so I decided to give it a try. Fortunately, there was a table available, and I was able to sit down right away.

For lunch, I had a tasty green salad followed by a plate of pasta filled with spinach and ricotta, and homemade tiramisu for dessert. All the dishes were delicious, and I can see why Las Sorrentinas is famed as one of the best spots in Barcelona for fresh pasta.

The service at Las Sorrentinas was exceptionally friendly, contributing to an overall pleasant dining experience. The entire meal cost me only €14.50, which is remarkable considering the quality of the dishes.
