1. El Born
Located in the heart of the old town, El Born is known for its narrow winding streets, historic buildings, and cozy atmosphere. It is home to many original boutiques, art galleries, and unique dining spots. Due to its wide range of tastefully decorated shops and restaurants, along with its artistic atmosphere, El Born is often considered the trendiest neighborhood in Barcelona.
In El Born, you’re in the right place if you’re looking for lively squares with cozy restaurants and terraces, small-scale shops and boutiques of local brands, and a good dose of artistic art, history, and culture.
Recommended places include Carrer de Montcada, where numerous museums and art galleries can be found, including the Picasso Museum, the lively Passeig del Born, and Carrer del Rec, where many charming shops and cafes are located.
